About IGAS
Irish Graduates Association of Singapore (IGAS) is a non-profit alumni society with two membership categories.
Membership
- Ordinary members are holders of degrees and diplomas from Irish tertiary institutes (North and South like the rugby team)
- Associate members, whether graduates or non-graduates, should have an interest in Ireland Read more...
Ethos: IGAS is a Singapore-registered association (Registrar of Societies UEN S80SS0004A) complying with Singapore law.
- We are non-political, non-sectarian and non-discriminatory
- Non-graduates and students are welcome as Associate Members
- Our members range in age from 20s to 90s
- Our members are mostly Singaporean, Malaysian and Irish
- Our eclectic and long-standing membership base makes IGAS unique among Irish societies in Singapore
Objectives: IGAS is predominantly a networking and social organisation, maintaining links with institutes in Ireland and Irish societies in Singapore. Our friendly, relaxed ethos is a blend of Singapore and Ireland. We welcome new members from all backgrounds.
